My journey into photography and filmmaking started long before I ever owned a professional camera. Growing up, I was constantly taking photos and videos on my ipod and GoPro, documenting everyday adventures with friends from skateboarding and rollerblading sessions to BMX riding and everything in between. I’ve always been drawn to capturing movement, action, and the stories that unfold in the moment.

After high school, I decided to take that passion more seriously and purchased my first DSLR camera, a Canon T6i. From there I continued to develop my skills, eventually transitioning into Sony’s camera system while expanding my work into motorsports photography and cinematography. Coming from a family that has always been passionate about cars, I naturally gravitated toward filming drift events, drag racing, autocross, and automotive culture.

Also my connection to the outdoors started long before I picked up a professional camera. Growing up, I spent countless days fishing, camping, and exploring with my family and friends. Those early experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and a desire to seek out new places and adventures.

Over the years, that passion evolved into hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, and exploring some of the most incredible landscapes across the country and beyond. I’ve spent countless days exploring national parks, hiking remote trails, backpacking through wilderness areas, and seeking out places that remind us how incredible the natural world can be.

Some of my favorite adventures include summiting Mount Adams in Washington, completing the Paintbrush-Cascade Loop in Grand Teton National Park, backpacking through Olympic National Park, hiking the unforgettable Highline Trail in Glacier National Park, and trekking Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala, where I spent the night camping on the mountainside overlooking the eruptions of the nearby Volcán de Fuego.

Experiences like these have reinforced my passion for adventure, exploration, and documenting the moments that make the outdoors so powerful and unforgettable. Those experiences continue to shape the stories I’m most passionate about telling today.

Whether it’s an athlete pushing their limits, a brand sharing its mission, or a group of friends embarking on an adventure, I’m drawn to stories that capture movement, challenge, exploration, and authentic human experiences. My goal is to create cinematic visuals that allow people to feel connected to the moment. not just watch it.

While filmmaking is currently my part-time business, my full-time career is as a Journeyman Electrician. I’ve spent the last decade working in the electrical trade and completed a seven-year apprenticeship program that taught me the value of hard work, attention to detail, and professionalism. Those same principles guide every project I take on behind the camera.

Roma Ron  Productions was founded in March of 2015 and has continued to evolve alongside my own journey as a filmmaker. Today, I focus on creating photo and video content for outdoor adventures, action sports, motorsports, athletes, and brands looking to tell meaningful stories through compelling visuals.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me exploring a mountain trail, planning the next adventure, or searching for new ways to combine storytelling with the outdoors.

I’m always excited to connect with people who share a passion for adventure, creativity, and pushing beyond the ordinary.
